As a locally owned and family-operated business, we take pride in delivering personalized service. At the same time, we\u2019re strategically partnered with the national Bumble Bee Blinds franchise (part of the HorsePower Brands family), giving Birmingham and the surrounding areas access to a vast selection of custom window treatments at the best possible value.\n\nA little about me: I was born and raised right here in Birmingham. My wife and Queen Bee, Mandy, and I now live in Hoover with\u00a0our two spoiled dogs\u2014Louis, a Boxer, and Patrick, a Golden Retriever.\u00a0 We have one son, Garrett who lives in Montevallo and works hard in the restaurant industry.\u00a0We are devoted followers of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and we strive to run our business with His principles in mind. \u00a0Proverbs 16:24 is our go-to verse for Bumble Bee Blinds.\n\nBefore launching Bumble Bee Blinds, I spent over 20 years in advertising and marketing sales, always prioritizing honesty and integrity\u2014values I carry into Bumble Bee as well.When I\u2019m not working (which isn\u2019t often!), I love to travel, read, follow just about every sport and I probably enjoy Dr. Pepper a little too much (but I&#039;m not a coffee drinker so I tell myself its ok!)\n\nWe would be honored to help bring your dream home to life. Queen Bee&lt;\/strong&gt;\n\nHi, I\u2019m Mandy\u00a0Sweatt, co-owner of Bumble Bee Blinds of Birmingham\u2014also known as the &quot;Queen Bee&quot; around here!\u00a0 I wear many hats: in addition to being a business owner alongside my husband, Jeff, I am a VP of Product and BA with Publicis Groupe, as well as an attorney (though not actively practicing).\u00a0 While Jeff manages the day-to-day operations, I balance my corporate career and our growing business.\u00a0 And we both manage two incredibly needy pups!\n\nI\u2019m a big fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, but also just a massive sports fan in general.\u00a0 And don&#039;t even get me started on the Olympics\u2014the ultimate showcase of passion, perseverance, and national pride. Whether it\u2019s the speed of the luge, the precision of curling, or the thrill of a gold medal moment on a gymnastics event, I\u2019m all in for both the Winter and Summer Games!\u00a0 Traveling and exploring new places (and restaurants) with my husband is one of my greatest joys, but no adventure is complete without &quot;the boys&quot;\u2014our Boxer, Louis, and our Golden Retriever, Patrick.\n\nAt Bumble Bee Blinds, our faith is the foundation of everything we do.
