A little about me, we're a husband and wife team (I'm the operator, but he's my biggest supporter and cheerleader) who recently felt God leading us to the Eastern Shore from Virginia. Aaron, my husband, was able to retire after 28 years of law enforcement, giving us the opportunity to move. Searching for a place to call home, we found everything we were looking for here: hospitality, kindness, and beautiful weather.

My background provides several decades of business ownership and operation experience in the real estate field.  After several dozen residential fix and flips along with multifamily value add acquisitions, it was a natural transition to start a window treatment company supporting Baldwin and Mobile counties. Through years of renovating and improving properties, I recognized the powerful impact quality window treatments have on both aesthetic appeal and functionality. This path lead me to become a proud owner of Bumble Bee Blinds of Mobile. We are a locally owned and operated, yet strategically partnered with the national Bumble Bee Blinds franchise brand (a part of the HorsePower brands family) a dedicated business focused on delivering customized, stylish, and practical solutions that enhance any space—whether residential or commercial.

You'll find me walking our dogs, doing something fitness related, or spending anytime I can get with our adult kids.  With a love for Jesus, and a heart to serve others in everything I do, I owe my best to our customers in every aspect of their window treatment journey.  I am deeply grateful to be part of this amazing community and consider it a true blessing to live, work, and serve right here as a locally owned and operated business.

With over 25 years of experience in the window treatment industry, she blends her expertise with a personal touch, ensuring every client finds the perfect solution to enhance their home or office. Summer's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is rooted in her values of trust, integrity, and family. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, exploring the outdoors, and discovering new design trends.
