While his family roots are from the South Side of Chicago, he has a diverse background \u2013 starting his career as an Officer in the Army with four combat deployments and most recently heading multiple customer experience departments here in Dallas-Fort Worth.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;p&gt;After buying a newly built home without window treatments, Matt got frustrated with his experience from multiple window treatment companies. That experience, combined with the new priorities that come with parenthood, led Matt to his opportunity to grow the Bumble Bee Blinds brand in his local community. She hails from Adelaide, Australia where her entire family still resides. After she met Matt between military deployments during a vacation in the United States, she made a leap of faith.
