As the owners of Bumble Bee Blinds of Boulder, Amber and Eric Hoffman bring a mix of experience, professionalism, and long-term commitment to the Boulder County community. Before launching this local window-treatment company, we spent more than a decade in high-stakes, detail-oriented careers — Amber as a tax attorney for 10 years and Eric in business development and operations. Those backgrounds shaped how we run Bumble Bee Blinds of Boulder today: transparent communication, reliable follow-through, and a focus on delivering high-quality custom blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery throughout Boulder and the Front Range.

Local Community Involvement Throughout Boulder County 

Our decision to grow a window-coverings company here was intentional. We live in Boulder County, we work across the Front Range every day, and we’re deeply involved in the local business community. We’re active members of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, the Louisville Chamber of Commerce, and the Longmont Chamber of Commerce—organizations that keep us connected to other local business owners and help us understand the needs and priorities of Boulder-area homeowners.

Our ties to Longmont run especially deep. We founded the Longmont Home Pros networking group inside the Longmont Chamber to bring together trusted home-services professionals from across Boulder County. The goal is simple: create a network of vetted local experts who share referrals, collaborate on projects, and raise the standard of service for homeowners throughout the Boulder and Longmont communities. These relationships directly benefit our window-covering clients, especially when projects require coordination with remodelers, builders, or designers.

Members of the Home Builders Association

We are also active members of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver, which covers much of the Front Range. Within the HBA, Eric serves on the Membership Committee, helping strengthen the organization and support builders and trades across Colorado. Amber serves on the Sales & Marketing Council for 2026, contributing to the development of education, events, and industry resources for the upcoming year. This involvement gives us firsthand insight into new residential developments, energy-efficient home design, and the window-covering needs of modern Boulder-area homes — insight we apply directly to every consultation.
