After a 35-year career as an executive with a global manufacturing company, I (Matt Wigle) realized retirement wasn’t for me. At the same time, my son Michael was seeking a new direction after his experience in real estate. Michael, now our Vice President of Marketing, uses his degree in Real Estate Finance and Development from UTSA and his deep knowledge of the Greater San Antonio area to connect with our community and lead our marketing efforts. Our journey into window treatments was unexpected, but as we learned about the industry and the opportunity to help people transform their homes and businesses, we knew we’d found our calling. Our family is deeply committed to this business and the community we serve. My wife of over 35 years, Jean-affectionately known as “Queen Bee”-supports our mission, and our daughter Ali, a Product Design student at the University of Oregon, inspires us with her creativity. Together, we’re dedicated to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions through Bumble Bee Blinds.
Kerri Busby – Senior Design Consultant, Boerne Office
Kerri brings a wealth of experience and a keen eye for design to every project. As a seasoned Window Covering Design Consultant, she specializes in creating custom solutions that blend function and beauty. Kerri’s expertise in fabric, style, and architecture ensures every recommendation is tailored to each client’s vision. She stays ahead of the latest trends and technologies, guaranteeing that every project exceeds expectations. When she’s not designing, Kerri enjoys sports, cooking, and family time.
Saul Sloan – Design Consultant, San Antonio & New Braunfels
Saul holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (Magna Cum Laude) from UT Arlington. He’s passionate about designing functional, stylish, and innovative window treatments that enhance any space. Saul’s approach balances beauty, privacy, and efficiency, helping clients create comfortable, inviting environments. Outside of work, Saul enjoys the outdoors and making memories with his family.
Ian Schoolcraft – Lead Installer
Ian’s background in home improvement and interior design spans window treatments, custom cabinetry, and epoxy surfaces. He’s committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceeding customer expectations on every project. Ian is also deeply involved in the community, volunteering as Technical Director for a local youth theater program. Whether he’s installing window coverings or designing stage sets, Ian thrives on turning ideas into reality.
