Hi, I am Richa Puri. I am the co-owner of Bumble Bee Blinds of Central New Jersey, working alongside my incredible husband, Ashish Puri. Together, we’re on a mission to make homes and businesses buzz with style, comfort, and functionality—one window at a time!

For me, windows are like the honeycomb of a home—they bring in golden sunlight, fresh air, and a view of the world outside. The simple joy of opening the shades in the morning or drawing the drapes for a cozy evening inspired me to help others create spaces that feel just right. Window treatments shouldn’t just be beautiful, they should work seamlessly with your lifestyle.

When I’m not busy in the hive, you’ll find me soaking up the rich art, history, and culture of Central New Jersey, supporting local museums, historical societies, and art festivals. I also love traveling, gardening, home improvement projects, and staying active with pickleball and golf alongside my two amazing young adult children.

Outside the world of blinds and windows, Ashish enjoys teeing off on the golf course, catching a great movie, and spending quality time with family and friends. His approach to life, like his approach to business, is thoughtful, client-centered, and always aiming to delight.

Meet Susan Levine, our Senior Design Consultant and the creative force in the team! With a sharp “eye for bee-tail,” and design, Susan has a knack for transforming spaces with window treatments that are as functional as they are stunning. A true Jersey Girl with a passion for design (and a love of puns!), she bee-lieves that every home should be a reflection of the people who live in it- a unique sanctuary filled with beauty and warmth.

What sets Susan apart is her personal touch. She doesn’t just help clients choose blinds, shades, or shutters, she builds genuine connections, taking the time to understand their lifestyle, needs, and aesthetics. Whether it's adding a touch of elegance, maximizing light control, or creating a cozy retreat, she thrives on bringing her clients’ dreams to life.

When she’s not designing dream spaces, Susan’s creativity knows no bounds. She’s a gift-wrapping guru, turning upcycled materials into one-of-a-kind masterpieces—describing her style as, “if Sanford and Son met MacGyver.” Her passion for artful details and thoughtful design shines in everything she does.

Meet Darilyn, the newest member of our team and a design consultant with a deep understanding of space, architecture, and family living. As a first-generation daughter of Dominican parents and the oldest of five siblings, she knows firsthand the importance of creating a comfortable, welcoming home for every family member.

A Kean University graduate in architectural studies, Darilyn’s perspective is shaped by her travels, including an inspiring four months in Italy, where she fell in love with how design influences the way we live. She believes every home should be a blend of beauty and function, tailored to the rhythm of family life.

In her free time, she expresses her creativity through painting, cooking, and baking, but her favorite moments are sitting on the porch with her mom and grandma on a rainy day—a reminder that home is all about warmth and connection.
