Interior Styles That Work Best with Window Shades

While the specific needs of your home or business will determine the ideal window shade type, some styles work particularly well for rooms with specific styles. For example:

Minimalist Modern: This style emphasizes simplicity and functionality. Window shades, especially those with clean lines and neutral tones, align perfectly with this aesthetic. With their sleek, cordless design, motorized shades can further enhance the minimalist modern look.
Industrial: Industrial design features exposed brick and metal. Roller shades in darker metallic hues provide essential light control and balance the rawness of the space.
Scandinavian: This style is all about coziness, comfort, and natural elements. Light, neutral tones of natural woven or pleated shades can complement this style, reflecting its love for organic, earthy elements.
Traditional: Traditional design embodies classic European décor. Roman shades, with their rich textures and elegant appeal, are a perfect choice for this architectural style.
Mid-Century Modern: This architectural style seamlessly integrates with nature. Exterior solar shades maintain the view while protecting the home from excessive sunlight.

From the time that Danny came to our house to show us the many design options to installation their performance has been outstanding. They showed us the many options that would fit our new pergola and walked us through the process. The installion of the shades was quick and added greatly to the look of our new pergola.

I am a property manager in multi family housing. I had a resident who needed some answers about her existing blinds. We had tried calling a few window covering companies with little success of even reaching a real person. Danny answered the phone, was kind as could be. Listened and immediately offered his services by coming onsite to meet with the resident. The resident purchased several new blinds with Danny and both the resident and I sing his praise for his kindness, superior customer service and quality products. What I have appreciated most working with Danny is his personalized and genuine style. I highly recommend Bumble Bee Blinds Minnetonka for window treatments of all kinds!

Danny Haeg, owner of Bumblebee Blinds of Minnetonka, is wonderful to work with! As an interior designer, I have been very pleased working with him. He is very knowledgeable and kind when working with my clients.

Julie Miller

I had the most fantastic experience with Bumble Bee Blinds in Minnetonka! I had big heavy drapes on my front windows. I was going to go with room darkening blinds but Danny made a great suggestion to go with light filtering and I'm so glad I did! I was concerned the light filtering wouldn't keep the room dark enough to keep the heat out and glare for the TV. But they do. The entire process was efficient! The install followed shortly after the blinds were ready. Danny followed up to make sure I was completely satisfied with every facet of the job. 100% recommend Bumble Bee Blinds for all your blind needs!

Beau Allen

I had the privilege of working with Danny at Bumble Bee Blinds. He was incredibly timely, professional and communicative. I really appreciate how he was able to effectively communicate a timeline and stick to it. I would happily work with Bumble Bee again
