Matt Richardson is the proud owner and General Manager of Bumble Bee Blinds of Gastonia, proudly serving the Gaston, Mecklenburg and York areas. With deep family roots in Mount Holly, NC, and a graduate of Appalachian State University, Matt brings a unique blend of hometown pride and professional expertise to every project. A former Army Officer with two combat tours and a Bronze Star, Matt has spent over a decade delivering results for customers as an Operations Manager at American & Efird and a Supply Chain Manager with Amazon.

After building his own home in 2023, Matt discovered a new passion: helping others transform their houses into spaces they can truly love. That passion led him to bring the Bumble Bee Blinds brand to his community, offering beautiful, functional window treatments tailored to every style and need. Whether you’re designing your first home, refreshing a condo, or upgrading your forever home, Matt is committed to delivering an exceptional experience from start to finish.

When he’s not helping clients, Matt enjoys woodworking, spending time with his family, and exploring the outdoors with his dog, Millie.
